24 June 2008
KMP will be hosting 2 seminars on the topic of PR 2.0, which take place on the 10th June in Manchester and the 25th June in London.
With an impressive list of 5 speakers, this seminar promises to be a walk through guide into the future of Public Relations. The line up consists of KMP's Chairman Bill Daring, who will be giving the keynote presentation on PR 2.0, Stuart Bruce from Wolfstar, Jennifer O'Grady and Ross Brown from Democracy PR, followed by KMP's Paul Fabretti.
In his keynote presentation, Bill will summarise how the techniques of PR are changing, and explain the concept of PR 2.0 as a consequence of the social media revolution. Bill will support this with some recent case studies of how and where these new PR techniques have been employed. Bill will also explain some of the technologies behind this new era of PR including creating "Google Juice", the semantic web, micro-formats, news aggregators and how they all play a part in getting the message across. Finally he will talk about some of the easy to use PR 2.0 tools that KMP provide including those for buzz monitoring, blogs, automated video distribution and the social media release product PressRoom which he will demonstrate online.
