Organised by Chinwag on behalf of UK Trade & Investment, the event aims to enable digital companies to expand into overseas markets and attract investment outside the UK. The Digital Mission takes place from the 14th-19th September, and promises to be an exciting opportunity to make valuable business contacts and establish new business relationships. Companies are also invited to market and pitch their services at the Web 2.0 Expo.
The Mission promises to include a range of activities focused specifically on digital companies, including a master class in "Doing Business in the US", a reception at the British Consulate, and access to the Web 2.0 Expo. The infamous New York Web 2.0 Expo is something all web 2.0 geeks long to attend, and will include many informal breakouts and opportunities for networking as well as the programmed sessions. KMP will be represented by Chairman Bill Daring and Content Strategist David Kinsella.
